Life is like playing a violin in public and learning the instrument as one goes on. Everyday is a learning experience- filled with an unbroken succession of successes and failures, more of the latter actually. Going down memory lane, we have all had an infant age where we couldn’t even walk with proper balance. It was through a series of very unpleasant and painful experiences that we all finally managed to set foot with confidence. Same goes for our academic life- none of us could remember ABC and 123 from day one of primary school but eventually, with time, we mastered it and now we are even in University. Point being, life happens to be the achievement of success in every possible way but the glory of ones life lies deep inside in the tedious learning encounters that he/she had to go through. Would a river have looked so nice without having to pass by the giant obstructing boulders? Would our lives have looked so wonderful without all the failures that we have all been through?
However, I’m not trying to convince you to dwell on your past failures but use them as the stepping stone to many more future successes- this is the principle of my life.
Through out my life, I have had more failures than successes but it hasn’t stopped me from being what I always wanted to be. Life might be full of misery and loneliness but take a moment to see the brighter side and relish it. Life is not as long as it may seem, so........................

This is quite a philosophical statement, Madushan. I appreciate your prespective that life is not easy but that facing the challenges can make us more fulfilled. Our failures can, in a sense then, lead to success.
I like this question that you pose, too: "Would a river have looked so nice without having to pass by the giant obstructing boulders?"

I delighted while I was reading your philosophical essay. Especially, I like your one questions, "Would our lives have looked so wonderful without all the failures that we have all been through?". Keep improving.
